Latest ADI Materials and Popular Sensor/Interface/DSP Models: Diverse Demand, Focusing on Main Trends

The continuous deepening of local industrial intelligence has led to the rising popularity of numerous signal chain chips and sensor-related materials, covering many brands such as ADI.

 

Two ADI Isolated Transceivers

 

As a crucial component of smart industrial production lines, interface materials have long drawn our attention. The currently popular ADI RS-485 interface chip, ADM2587EBRWZ, has been quite sought after since the beginning of the year. By the end of April, its weekly search volume reached over 3,800 times, surpassing previous peak levels. It fell to around 2,500 times per week in May, which is still higher than the usual weekly average. Overall, its price has slightly increased compared to earlier periods. ADI's lineup of RS-485 interface chips is extensive, and the high demand is not limited to just one model. For comparison, the peak search volume for the ADM2582EBRWZ also occurred at the end of April, reaching around 1,500 searches. However, its weekly search volume generally fluctuates around 1,000, and its peak at the end of April was not as significantly higher than usual compared to the ADM2587E. The price has remained steady at around 24 yuan, and the inventory level has not fluctuated much over the past two months. Overall, the demand for this material is not as strong as for the ADM2587E.

It is also worth noting that the overall popularity of ADI materials has been quite high recently. For example, digital isolators such as the ADUM1201ARZ and ADUM1411ARWZ, RF transceiver AD9361BBCZ, instrumentation amplifier AD623ARZ, and digital-to-analog converter AD7616BSTZ have all been in high demand. ADI's materials are solid in high-end application fields and are difficult to replace. Therefore, it is understandable that their popularity increases rapidly when there is market demand.

Recently, some accelerometer sensors have gained popularity, and ADI is among the notable brands. The ADXL355BEZ has seen a surge in interest lately. ADI recommends this material for new designs, has a temperature range of -40 to 125 degrees, and features digital output. At the end of April, its weekly search volume exceeded 2,000 times, and the post-holiday rebound was also strong, recently recovering to over 1,600 times per week. Its price has risen to around 350 yuan, significantly higher than before, and its inventory level significantly decreased between April and May. Besides ADI, ST has also recently had two highly popular accelerometers, but their prices are not in the same league as the former.
